When Will America Wake Up?

In order to win the presidency in America, candidates must stir up the religious fervor of the voters (gay marriage/civil union) and then vocally (and in some cases visually) wear your (new) Evangelical beliefs on your sleeve. It used to be candidate vs. candidate, then party vs. party, big business vs. the common (wo)man, platform vs. platform, then region vs. region, but now none of that matters as a new America has emerged, an America in which the majority with a religious…

Misinterpreting the Middle East Crisis as an Apocalypse

Some Christans today are rejoicing at the bloodshed in the Middle East, believing that it’s a sign of the Second Coming. This illustrates some people’s desire to find simple answers to complex issues coupled with an erroneous conception of the Bible. Complex issues usually require complex solutions. However, when the Bible gets involved or invoked, the issue gets a little thornier.

The Right To Die Should Be A Personal Matter

I believe that the right to die should, in most cases, be a personal matter and not a political matter (I am talking for adults, not for children. Children, and I include teenagers in this, have not lived long enough and do not have enough life experience to decide their own fates. Some of them think the world is at an end if they get a bad grade or a pimple.). While I am a Republican (I just can’t stand the thought of aligning myself with far left fanatics like Howard Dean, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid, etc..), I disagree with many Republican ideals. There are very few things in this world that are more contradictory than the words “Middle East peace.”

“The Landscape of the Soul”

Through the years, we accumulate a series of experiences. Our tendency is to evaluate and simply reflect on what we have been through and what we have learned. This inward site into what we can no longer see with our eyes allows us to see through them through our soul.

Effect Of Prayers On Our life

What are prayers? To pray means to convey a request to God. Those who believe that there is no God, can still pray to the higher power in who they have belief.

Once Saved, Always Saved?
